  쿡스 듣다가 갑자기 케이준 댄스 파티가 생각나서 검색해보니 해체했다네? 으잉 1집만에 해체하냐.. 싶다가도 워낙에 노래 풍이 다른 밴드 카피한 거 같았으니까 이해도 됐었는데, 섭섭하다며 무너지기 전에 아이들의 행방을 알아보니 새로운 밴드를 결성. 그게 Yuck이다. 몇 곡 유튭에서 찾아 들어보았는데 케이준 댄스 파티랑은 전혀 다른 분위기여서 놀랐다. 그리고 그게 더 좋고 개성있어서 놀랐고... 오래된 라디오에서 흘러나오는 노래를 듣는 것 같다, 그리고 좋다.

  첨에 쿡스 닮았다고 추천 받았던 밴드. ㅋㅋㅋ뭔소리야 하면서 들었었는데 헐 이 독특한 발음과 목소리 톤과 흥겨운 노래는 쿡스같아...? 게다가 뮤직비디오를 처음 봤을땐 보컬 다니엘이 뽀글뽀글한 파마머리에 얼굴을 잘 안보이는 그런 구도를 취하고 있어서 영락없이 쿡슨줄 알았다. 내가 쿡스를 엄청 좋아해서 그런지 몰라도 첫이상이 호감이었다.

  앨범 트랙은 간소하게 9트랙. 일본반은 보너스 트랙이 더 있다고 들어는데 들어보진 못했다. 전체적으로 멜로딕한 흥겨운, 그리고 때로는 감성적인 노래들. 앨범이 괜찮아서 자주 들었는데 금방 질려버렸다는게 흠. 쿡스랑 크게 다르지도 않은데 왜 그런지 모르겠는데 요새는 굳이 찾아 듣고 싶지는 않아져버렸다. 싫은건 아닌데, 그냥 주기의 문제일지도.
