  솔직히 난 힐러리 더프를 린지 로한보다 좀 낮게 보는 경향이 있었다. 린지가 가진 스타성과 화제거리를 만들어내는 능력(좋은 소문은 아니지만-_- 끊임없이 주목을 받지 않는가. 그녀의 패션, 그녀의 헤어스타일, 그녀가 가진 모든 것들.)을 따라 잡을 수 없다고 생각했으니까. 가수로서도 린지의 음악을 더 많이 들었(사금파리 먹인 듯한 목소리가 맘에들기도 하고-_-..)고, 힐러리의 음악은 2집은 그럭저럭 괜찮았지만 1집은 뭐.

  그러나! 이번에 나온 힐러리의 앨범은 전과는 다르다! 이번 앨범 Dignity는 소녀에서 여자로 탈바꿈한 느낌이 들게한다. 전체적으로 음악의 느낌들이 맘에 들고... 다소 클럽풍의 느낌이 드는데 귀에 착착 감긴다. 저스틴의 앨범 FutureSex／LoveSounds를 들었을 때의 신선한 충격이 떠올랐다. 물론 그때에 비하면 그런 풍의 음악이 많아서 흔한 느낌도 있지만, 내가 생각하고 있던 힐러리가 완전히 바뀌었다는 점에서 참 맘에 든다.
