  분노의 앨범 발매 연기 후 줄리안 카사블랑카스의 유튜브에서는 사람들을 달래듯 신곡을 공개했다. 처음에 듣고나서 멍했다. 이게 무슨 노래야 싶어서... 또 한 번 들었을 때야 이 곡을 좋아할 수 있겠다 싶었다. 곡 진행이 뭔가 특이하다는 생각을 했다. 처음에 사람 잡아먹을 듯이 음산하게 시작되다가 노래 분위기가 또 확 바뀌더라. 스트록스 3집의 몇 몇 노래들이 떠올랐음. 스트록스와 완전히 다를 거라고 생각했던 솔로앨범이 어떤 부분에서는 결국 맞닿아 있겠구나... 그런 생각도 들었다. 스트록스 3집에서 확 바뀌었던 줄리안의 송라이팅이 솔로앨범에서도 보이는구나.

  1분 즈음에 반복되고 후반부에서도 또 반복되는 getting the hang of it과 timing is everything의 연속성은, 솔로앨범 프리뷰 영상에서 보았던 drunkenness is cowardice, sobriety is loneliness 문구의 반복을 떠오르게 하더라. 그 프리뷰 영상은 어쩌면 줄리안 솔로 앨범 분위기의 모든 집대성이었던 걸까(...) 아무튼 노래 안에서는 저 getting the hang of it, timing is everything의 반복 부분이 제일 마음에 든다. 리드기타보단 리듬기타와 베이스가 더 눈에 띄는 노래. 어쩌면 그래서 처음에 어색했을런지도... 이번 앨범에서 기타 사운드 많이 죽이고 다른 것들을 더 활용했다고 들은 기억이 나는데 뭐. 확실히.

  아직 포럼에 안가봐서 사람들 반응은 모르겠는데 뭐 포럼에서야 다 물빨핥이겠지ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.... 으 확실히 나는 이게 다른 사람 노래였으면 한 번 듣고 껐을 것 것도 같다. 얼른 전체 앨범 듣고 싶다. 11월 3일까지 언제 기다려OTL... 포스터도 온다고 하는게 유일한 위안...ㅋ.ㅋ
